Dedicated to expanding awareness and preservation of Arizona women's history.

WHAT WE DO

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the primary goal of the Arizona women’s History Alliance is to aid in the expansion of Arizona women’s history and education, including the promotion of new research and writing. We increase public awareness of the experiences and contributions of Arizona women who collectively represent Arizona’s rich and diversified racial, ethnic, cultural, social, economic and political history.

Encourage and promote local and regional education programs as well as statewide exhibits focused on Arizona women

Support the activities of the Arizona Women’s Heritage Trail and the Arizona Women’s Hall of Fame

Support the activities of institutions or organizations dedicated to women’s history.

 

FRANCES WILLARD MUNDS

SUFFRAGE STATUE

Become a part of history by donating towards erecting the first statue of an individual woman on State land. Frances Willard Munds mobilized Arizona women in 1912 to fight for their right to vote.
